Planta Nativo is a project we have been working on for some time now and starts with the intention of transforming the place we live into a forest of native species.
Now we are implementing the space intended for a nursery and dedicated to the propagation of native flora, flora for ornamental use and exotic flora that is difficult to propagate in Chile. Our goal is to encourage the use of native species, especially those with low water requirements, for the creation of sustainable gardens that serve as homes and food sources for native pollinators and local fauna.
We seek to dedicate ourselves to the collection, cultivation and care of a wide variety of plant species, prioritizing those that are endemic and native to Chile and that are essential to maintain the ecological balance in our ecosystems. In addition, we work with exotic ornamental species that, although they are not native, are carefully selected for their adaptability to the climate, their low need for water and always ensuring that they do not cause damage to the local flora.
We firmly believe in the importance of promoting biodiversity and conserving our natural heritage. Therefore, each plant we grow in our nursery is a contribution to the preservation of the environment and the well-being of our wildlife.
